Biograte

Biograte is a boiler model featuring a circular grate and combustion chamber. Biograte grates are available for boiler capacities ranging from 3 to 24 MW. Due to its structure, the boiler maintains a consistent temperature and can even burn moister fuels. Originally designed to meet the needs of the sawmill industry, particularly for burning damp bark, the efficient drying and combustion of fuel are facilitated by the radiant heat reflected from the circular combustion chamber walls and ceiling. Any carbon residue generated during fuel combustion is completely burned on the outer edges of the grate. Bottom ash is removed via a conveyor from the water space below the grate.

We have delivered approximately 150 Biograte boiler plants to the sawmill industry and district heating production.
