VKK Group Oy owns VKK Power Oy and Vaasan Kuljetuskanavat Oy. The group currently employs 90 professionals, and its factories are located in Mustasaari in Ostrobothnia and in Kiuruvesi in Upper Savonia. The Mustasaari factory covers an area of approximately 4000 m2, while the Kiuruvesi factory covers around 5000 m2. The machinery is modern and includes, among other things, an automatic laser cutting machine, bending machines, submerged arc welding equipment, mangles, and machining equipment.

VKK Power Oy designs and delivers heating plants globally. Vaasan Kuljetuskanavat specializes in designing and delivering systems for the transfer, filtration, and storage of dust, sawdust, and other industrial by-products, especially for the mechanical wood processing industry. Our comprehensive solutions include design, manufacturing, and maintenance.

The company was established in 1988, when it began its operations under the name Vaasan Kuljetuskanavat Oy. Since the latest business acquisition in 2023, KPA Unicon is also part of VKK Group. KPA Unicon’s roots date back to 1975 when Sermet was founded.
